Message From Our Chairman

Our Chairman, Dr. K.P. Gopalkrishna, is a pioneer in school education in India and is known for his unflinching dedication to holistic learning and excellence. At a young age, in his early twenties, he had the vision to establish the first CBSE school under the National Public School brand in 1959 in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. From then on, he has never looked back, setting up several educational institutions across Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysuru and Singapore. He is known for his foresight, integrity and steadfast focus on students.

The schools under his leadership aim to provide a well-rounded education, encompassing academic excellence, character formation, and personality development. Some of his schools, NPS Rajajinagar, NPS Gopalpuram and NPS Indiranagar, are welcoming third-generation learners – an indication of the trust and faith parents have in his leadership. Over the last six-and-a-half decades, he has been inspiring generations of educators and students alike.
