The demand for qualified teachers well trained in modern research-based pedagogy led to the creation of our very own TISB Training Academy (TTA). TTA offers a host of teacher training courses in Bengaluru and across India. Our courses for CBSE teachers, ICSE teachers and IB teachers are designed keeping in mind the needs of contemporary classrooms.
Our Learning & Development division has a combined teaching experience of 234 years in 25 different subjects, across 7 different boards and curricula, in both Indian and International schools! We have the expertise and passion to train aspiring and practising teachers, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed in teaching roles in Bengaluru and beyond.

Aspiring/New teachers
The Diploma in Teaching & Learning Practices is a teacher training diploma in Bengaluru, which provides aspiring educators with theoretical and practical training that can help them craft powerful classroom experiences. This program is perfect if you want to know how to become a CBSE teacher in India. The course is designed keeping in mind not just the CBSE teacher training requirements, but also the ICSE and international teacher training requirements. Our Diploma programme combines both theoretical sessions and in-classroom teaching practice at TTA-identified schools. Starting with the Batch of 2024-2025, TTA is running the “Earn While You Learn” programme, where select Diploma students will have the opportunity to work at National Public School family of institutions and earn a stipend, while also shadowing senior teachers and working with our trainers.
Practising teachers
At TTA, we offer a plethora of courses designed to upskill practising teachers, to deepen their subject matter expertise and to introduce to them new pedagogies and digital skills. The TTA teacher trainers in HSR Layout have tremendous experience training faculty at our internal group of TISB, NAFL, GMC and NPS schools, and external schools. We also have teacher trainers at our NPS Rajajinagar school campus and NAFL North campus, where we offer training to CBSE, IB and ICSE schools in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Chennai.

Our L&D wing also specialises in running School Leadership training in India. We are a top-rated provider that offers School Principal training in Bengaluru. Our Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari, runs the Aspiring Leaders Workshop – a multi-day programme designed to give experienced teachers and School Coordinators the skills and knowledge they need to grow into effective school leaders.
Dr. Bindu Hari also offers the TISB, NAFL, GMC & NPS flagship course – I.Lead – to train Middle and Senior leaders to empathetically handle school management challenges.
