Message from our Vice Chairperson

Dr. Bindu Hari is the Vice Chairperson of the NPS CBSE schools in India, the ICSE NAFL schools in Bengaluru, the TISB international school, and the NPSI international schools in India and Singapore. She is a transformational leader with a deep passion for 21st-century learning. She follows in the footsteps of the visionary educators, Dr. K.P. Gopalkrishna and Dr. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, and continues their tradition of imparting research-rich, holistic education to empower students and nurture future-ready leaders of tomorrow.

She started her career over thirty years ago teaching Science and Maths. In her long and illustrious career, she has set up and developed educational institutions with stringent quality standards, driven strategic initiatives through collaborative processes and distributed leadership, and built Leadership teams by upskilling middle management, senior management professionals, and principals. She has strategised and successfully implemented smooth and seamless succession planning across all educational institutions.

Over the years, under Dr Bindu’s leadership, several educational institutions and initiatives have been launched. Prominent among these are setting up the National Public School International (NPSI) in Singapore in 2008, launching the NPS Quality Assurance Cell in 2015 and developing the Curriculum for Entrepreneurship for Grade 6 students to sow the seeds of entrepreneurship. To date, Dr. Bindu has addressed more than 100,000 parents and trained more than 3000 teachers, over 500 middle-level leaders, and several Principals in various skills.
