Dr. K. P. Gopalkrishna’s lodestar and joy are his students. His sole purpose and unwavering focus in life has been to provide the best educational opportunities to his students and see them succeed in professions and careers they aspire to.
He makes no compromises when it comes to establishing his schools. The buildings, classrooms, and sports grounds are testaments to his vision of creating the finest safe spaces for the young wards in our care. These facilities reflect an unwavering commitment to offer the best environment for learning and growth.
Establishing the NPS Educational Institutions, which include NPS, NAFL, TISB, TTA, NPSI, and GMC, and maintaining their high standards may seem daunting to many. However, for Dr. K. P. Gopalkrishna, it was a source of excitement and energy that kept his adrenaline flowing.

Dr. Santhamma Gopalkrishna
With her unique vision on academic excellence, curriculum and pedagogy, Dr. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, the Dean of the NPS, NAFL, TISB, NPSI and GMC Educational Institutions, has supported the Chairman every step of the way to create the finest institutions of excellence. Her leadership has offered deep insights into numerous academic matters related to all the curricula our institutions offer.
Her penchant for meticulousness in all that she does has become legendary. The robust processes established in all our schools today are primarily a result of Dr Santhamma’s efforts to establish vibrant and holistic learning centres that are unique, inclusive and stand the test of time. She has always placed children at the centre of school design, and all our educational institutions have carried this forward during our 65+ years in operation. It was in the nuts and bolts of running a school that Dr Santhamma excelled – be it selecting textbooks, hiring teachers, workshops on drawing up timetables, classroom management, time management, language development, child psychology, or setting question papers. She mirrored the Chairman in diligence, passion, focus and perseverance, taking their schools to great heights.
This culture of integrity, discipline, meticulousness, passion, and excellence has now become the hallmark of our institutions. Student-centricity is paramount to us. All staff members are encouraged and motivated to keep this as our fulcrum.

Dr. Bindu Hari
Our institutions continue to expand and evolve under the leadership of our Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari. She has set stringent quality standards, driven strategic initiatives through collaborative processes and distributed leadership, and built school leadership teams by upskilling middle management, senior management professionals, and Principals. She has strategised and successfully implemented smooth and seamless succession planning across all our educational institutions.
